As you can probably tell, having a well organized closet is very important to me. I can't stand when things go missing and in all honesty - I like to sleep in. I can't spare a second in the morning looking for certain pieces of clothing. It's kind of a blessing and a curse, though. My obsession is not only with how my closet is organized but it has a great deal to do with the pieces of clothing as well. Although my closet is clean, I find myself getting rid of perfectly good items. I go through my closet at least once a month and toss / donate / consign any items that don't fit the aesthetic of my closet. In rare cases I'll hang on to items that I know I will never wear just because I like the idea of them. Am I insane? Does anybody else have this problem? I'm the opposite of a hoarder when it comes to my clothing and I have absolutely no guilt over getting rid of pieces of clothing, even if I do have a use for them. It's a very strange and vicious cycle, and I'm not quite sure how to break from it.
As for the items hanging in the closet itself, there's a whole range of brands. A lot of it is secondhand, from either thrift or consignment shops, there's a lot from Forever 21 and Old Navy as well. I also have a good amount from The Bay and random online stores.
