SUMMER 2016

This past season has been a whirlwind, I wouldn't even know where I would begin to explain it. My friends and I went to Toronto, to Florida, to Sandbanks and had many adventures in between. I'm going to look back on this past summer with a ton of memories, some good and some bad, but it has been one hell of a ride.

Here's a small collection of photos that were taken over the past couple of months. All of them were taken with my iPhone 6+.

141/ NO COMPLAINTS

This blog post is super delayed. These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago when I visited Toronto with my best friends, Laura and Lisa.

I'm not even really sure what to say about that trip. Laura was off doing white tantric yoga the day that these photos were taken and Lisa and I had the day to explore the city. Our friend that we were staying with, Jessie, had to work to the better part of the day so he gave us instructions on where to go and how to get there. Lisa and I thought we were going to have a relaxing day in the city, but things never really go as planned.

It didn't really end up being that dramatic. Just frustrating. Basically the subway was down between a few stops (obviously where we needed it) and the shuttle buses that the TTC supplied were what I picture hell to be like. We ended up spending a big chunk of the day walking. I'm thankful that I was smart enough to wear a pair of shorts under my skirt to prevent chaffing, and although my shoes were comfortable, I did end up with a few blisters.

But whatever, that's life. Things never go as planned but I think we made the best out of our situation. If our biggest complaint that day was the amount of walking that we had to do, I see that as a victory. Last time I went to Toronto I came home with a concussion that messed up my life for a few months, this time I came home with a few blisters. No complaints.

ONE HUNDRED/ the happiest place on earth

It is crazy how time flies. Just a few short weeks ago I was walking around in Orlando, Florida, in short sleeves. Now I'm back braving the cold up here in Canada. It was my third time visiting Walt Disney World but it surely won't be my last. It is no secret that I love visiting the United States and the happiest place on earth is truly my destination of choice. I flew down at the beginning on January to meet up with my parents, their friends and my brother. I had an amazing time and truthfully, I'm currently staring out the window at the snow asking myself why I bothered to ever come home.
